Short ride across choppy Currituck Sound to AYB,(home to new baby chicks)(pix) ,where we were met by Norm Blinn, a former Mainshipper and Naval Aviator, and now the owner of a beautiful Duffy 37.(Ebb Tide II). Also met Jim(Imagine) a friend of Graham, who used to dock at AIYB. Norm drove me to West Marine and Jim, Graham and I(mostly Graham) wrestled with fixing the water hose failure. After about 4 hours of hard, tight quarters fixing, we think we may have it repaired-We'll see with time. I think a redesign for the Camano would be in order, to make access easier and also some shut-off valves to isolate parts of the system. This was our second fresh water systen failure. Good Mexican dinner across the street, though.
