Bohemia River-Yacht Harbor

After an early ride for blood test-(Thanks again, Joan!), we departed Bodkin Creek for Chesapeake City on the west side of the C&D Canal, only to find that the canal was closed to all traffic, both ways, due to a sunken sailboat close to C. City. Needing a laundry stop, we're here at a nice quiet marina on the River-passed "SueSeaQ" across the river at anchor. Just heard on the radio that the Corps of Engineers will commence salvage operations at 7 AM tomorrow-don't know when the Canal will open though. Looks like a couple of marginal wx days on the Deleware River, so may be no problem to wait. Stay tuned.
PS: We passed 1000 miles just west of Tolchester Beach,Md.
