Charming little town: Gerry's former college friend, Joe Stearns and wife Patty met us at the Marina and gave us the grand tour of the Traverse Bay area. Joe was a city planner for Detroit and now is a woodworking craftsman-we saw some samples in a couple of upscale stores in the city. Patty is a freelance writer and great hostess. We enjoyed a lot of wine and a steak dinner at their lovely house set above a small lake. Lots of reminiscing about the"old days" and people. Thanks for a great day, Joe and Patty
