Gore Bay Marina

Short trip here-winds from astern, so easy ride. Unfortunately Honga stayed behind due to adverse currents not allowing him to leave his slip. Dinner tonight at Gordon's Lodge and on to Meldrun Bay AM.

Really enjoyed the photos and commentary of your trip. Looks and sounds like it is meeting your expectations. We went up to Fort Loudon last week with 3 other boats. Had a great time though really HOT! on Wed afternoon it was 108 on the bridge - way to hot. Only had one emergency, found that my starboard packing glad nut was letting in a little too much water, had to find a marina and get a crash pump (clean bilge now)but everything worked out and I got the packing nut tight. another boat had his shaft come out of the transmission and in the process cracked the tranny case $$$$. They left the boat at another marina and stayed on our boat for 2 nights.

Had a nice time, boat ran great after problem sorted out. Back in Chatt and getting ready to fly to MPLS for aunts 90th birthday on Sat then head north to Brainerd, MN for a couple of days. Will be home on the 16th.

Smooth cruising that thanks for the great site.
